Simple, but fresh and light

There are times where you really prefer not to eat any heavy food. You just want your food to be so light that there is almost zero cooking... but of course raw food is another expertise area. I've created 2 super duper simple dish for your consideration. It is extremely easy to cook. At the same time, it is light and fresh.

The FIRST is Soba Hot Noddle. Most Soba noodles are taken cold. But my weak stomach says I can't take cold that day, so I decide to create a Hot Soba!

Ingredients :

1. Brinjal (Egg Plant)

2. Shitake Mushroom

3. Spring Onion

4. Soba Sauce (bought ready made from supermarket)

5. Soba Noodle

Directions :

1. Cook Soba for about 3 mins. Scoop noddle into a drain and put under running cold tap water. Left it aside to drain off more water.

2. 1 bowl of water + half bowl of soba sauce serving. Mixed well

3. Boil the soba sauce and add shitake mushroom and brinjal to cook.

4. Put the soba sauce into a bowl and pour the sauce and veg over the cook soba. Served with onions and pepper!

SECOND is a dessert.

This is even simpler.

Ingredients :

1. Papaya

2. Lily bulb

3. Rock Sugar (this can be optional as papaya itself is rather sweet)

Direction:

1. Cut papaya into cubes.

2. Clean and peel lily bulb into small pieces.

3. Put water until it cover the portion of papaya you have.

4. When it boiled, put in the rock sugar. If you don't have sweet tooth, you can skip the sugar.

5. Take the fire off and put the lily bulb in before cover the lid and rest it for 5mins before serving.

This 2 dishes are really good for a women during cranky mood swing days. :) Hope you will enjoy them too!
